The CDTI through its calls for an ecosystem approach (innovation Ecosystem) encourages networking and interconnection of agents of the Spanish System of science, technology and innovation, to enhance collaboration in the system, providing value-added services, identification of needs and technological capabilities, as well as the interconnection between the two.

This new approach of CDTI capacity of r + D + I, cooperation and transfer of knowledge is a reflection of the strategic Plan 2024-2027, although in 2023, CDTI launched a pilot initiative in the ecosystem Level, 2023 ecosystems of innovation linked to networks of excellence Cervera, funded by the recovery Plan, transformation and Resilience.
