A comprehensive strategy to strengthen the entire r + D + I, since the assignment to technology transfer

The centre for technological development and innovation (CDTI Innovation), the agency for innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities, has increased by 2025 the overall framework of their grants concurrently competition and direct spending boost r & D in the area of business technology project, which will reach an overall volume of further 1,942. In the area of the strategy for science, technology and innovation 2021-2027, the strategic commitment of CDTI puts it as a tractor, increasing the intensity of average subsidy and diversifying the financing instruments to adapt to nature of each business project on r & D and innovation. In this context, the objective of the proceedings of the CDTI Innovation is to promote Spain as european leader in the transfer of knowledge and its programmes and support to r + D + I include, of course for decades, those concerned with dual technologies that can be used in both civil and defence, creating synergies and reduce development costs, that the CDTI transversaliza and managed through a department dedicated.

With a grant of eur 90 million,Innterconecta STEPit is focused on supporting regional consortia, with the participation of companies and centres of knowledge and r & D, to develop high-technology solutions in sensitive areas for european industrial sovereignty (digital technologies, clean and efficient technologies in the use of resources and biotechnology, including essential medicines) in the area of collaboration and strengthen público-privada ecosystems of innovation.

For its part,Science and innovation missionswith 140 million grant, large collaborative projects funded r & D oriented towards national strategic challenges — reduction of hospital stays, territorial management, more resilient to climate risks, IA responsible, industries, interconnected strategic sovereignty in key mineral raw materials, strategic autonomy in security and defence policy or sustainable mobility and decarbonisation of transport — developed also in consortia between companies and centres of knowledge and r & D. It is noteworthy that, in line with the base concept of missions or challenges in the field of european governance, the convening of this have been co-creadas consensus and in collaboration with actors representative of the potential participants, who have made their own knowledge of the ecosystem and the market to identify and propose the missions to include in this call 2025.

The invitationInnoglobalspent eur 15 million in grants to boost international technology cooperation in international programmes managed by the CDTI Innovation. In the area of entrepreneurship, innovative businesses, the programmeNEOTECprogramme funds, with up to 30 billion in subsidies, the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises high tech r & D and innovative knowledge. Finally, with up to eur 70 million in grants, the programme ofAid to Cervera Technological Centres of excellenceenhancing the capabilities of the technology centres in technologies linked to priority Areas as safe and healthy food, communications and advanced mobile networks, efficient and sustainable management of energy, artificial intelligence, new and better quantum materials, technology or digital technologies associated with the 5.0. The Technology Centres act as a bridge between academia and businesses, remain a key player in the development of applied technology and in promoting the transfer of technology to Business.

In addition to the proceedings based on subvention, the CDTI Innovation will manage in 2025 up to 65 million in direct expenditureInnovative Public procurementfor the acquisition of prototypes and demostradores of high technology (digital health, autonomous, mobility, clean energy, food security) which allows businesses to av r & D and technological solutions receive the income of r & D while validate your solutions in real environments, reducing the market risk and accelerating the adoption by the public authorities.

In the area of the internationalization of spanish business technological capacities, the CDTI go 182 million direct expenditure to finance actions of corporate r & D in the international level. In particular, go 126 million to support the activities of industrial R & D, scaling and first pre-comercial deployments in Major projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI s.l.d.c.) Med4Cure financing tractoras companies and their supply chains in the area of health. Similarly, go 31 million direct subsidySeal of excellenceto those smes of innovative activity that exceeded the threshold of quality of the accelerator EIC of Horizon Europe but who have not obtained european funding. In addition, 12 million provides direct expenditure to the callEurostars + SERAfinancing the participation of spanish companies in the Eurostars Eureka partnerships and Partnership on Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Autonomous Systems (BE), and 13 million direct toDARE/EuroHPC(13 M €), covering the contribution to projects selected by the catalan JU EuroHPC and whose aim is to provide support for hardware, software and applications of high performance (HPC) to strengthen european digital autonomy.

In addition, in its more traditional lines, will continue to support entrepreneurial innovation throughpartially refundable loansfor the development ofr & D projectsincremental and the purchase of innovative technology by businesses that need to modernise their production systems. This line of loans with a grant equivalent to be, by 2025, with up to eur 550 million.

For its part, in the area of investment and venture capital, SICCInnvierte, which is a shareholder the CDTI and unique administrator provides eur 800 million in direct investment (coinversiones) and indirectly (through funds) to boost r & D and the development of knowledge which underlies the creation and growth of innovative companies in technologies such as biotech, clima-tech, IA or new space, as well as vertical aligned with the LOSS of aerospace and Health. Of the total budget, 300 million of them to the instrumentInnvierte Deep-Tech Tech Transferlaunched next to the european investment fund, to reposition spain as european hub in deep technologies and strengthen the link of transfer of technology to capitalize on specialized funds that invest in spin-offs university quantum technologies, micro nanoelectronics or integrated photonics.

Overall, the total strength of CDTI innovation to 2025 will reach further 1,942 billion in subsidies, direct expenditure and investment in activities to support to r & D in the area of business technology projects, of which, in line with the approach in r & D that includes dual synergies, cutting 150 million will be focused on business projects of r & D with synergies mode: 10 Neotec Cervera, 60 and 80 of Missions.
