The CDTI Innovation has launched the Line of Aid for Testing and Experimental Infrastructures, an initiative aimed at financing investment projects aimed at the construction and/or improvement of scientific-technological infrastructures that allow to provide services to support business innovation.

The objective of this action is to strengthen the capacity of the interface agents of the innovation ecosystem —such as Technology and Innovation Support Centers, Scientific-Technological Parks, Incubators or Knowledge Transfer Offices— to facilitate technological development, applied research and technology transfer to the business fabric.

These infrastructures will allow companies, especially SMEs, to validate, test or demonstrate technologies in advanced environments — such as test benches, pilot lines, demonstrators, testing facilities or living laboratories — before they enter the market, promoting the development of new products, processes and services and contributing to the strengthening of innovation ecosystems.

Technological centres and centres to support technological innovation, both at State and territorial level, as well as associations, foundations and companies that carry out economic activity and have their own legal personality and tax domicile in Spain, will be able to benefit from this line of aid.

The aid will finance investment projects aimed at the acquisition of new fixed assets, both material and non-material, necessary for the construction and/or improvement of these technological infrastructures. The projects must have a minimum duration of nine months and a maximum of twenty-four months.

The line is implemented through Partially Refundable Grants (APR) financed with funds from the CDTI Innovation, with a fixed interest rate referenced to the Euribor one year.

The deadline for submitting applications opens on March 16 and will remain open throughout the year through the electronic headquarters of the CDTI Innovation.

Interested entities can consult all the details of the call for proposals and the requirements for participation on the CDTI Innovation website:
