The CDTI SICC Innvierte of investing in Innovation X1 WIND, together with CLUB RG 14, S.L., to develop a floating wind system proved innovative and ready to change the paradigm of offshore wind industry

X1 WIND (Roughly Exponential Renewables S.L.) is a technology-based company seeking solutions for resolving the challenges of energy revolution, to change the way in which there is the energy and drastically reduce its environmental impact.

The X1 WIND technology is the result of more than 20 years of experience in the marine renewable energies. Design autoorientable floating which reduces the weight and minimizes the costs of installation and maintenance, making the floating wind is competitive.

The CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has closed an operation of investment in this endeavour with CLUB RG 14, S.L., with a sum of eur investment 405,000. Thanks to this participation, the CDTI Innovation contributes to addressing the climate challenge to participate in the field of marine renewable energies.

Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial innovation through support to the risk capital investment in technology-based enterprises or innovative programme. This 2020 Strategy contains goals, the reforms and measures to be taken throughout the area of r + D + i in order to boost their growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the government's policy in r + D + i for the coming years.
