The CDTI SICC Innvierte of Innovation invests together with Bullnet Capital in 2EyesVision, innovative company ophthalmic technology

2EyesVision disruptive develops solutions in ophthalmology, focused on improving the experience of the patient and decision-making clinics. Its innovative visual simulator SimVis Gekko allows patients to experience what vision after of having cataract surgery or presbyopic, improving communication with the physician, reduces uncertainty and enhance the operative rehabilitation.

The new generation of the device, SimVis Gekko2, incorporates the Pupil system Monitoring System, facilitating their integration in the clinical flow through a more rapid alignment, accurate and stable.

The company works in new technologies that are still by positioning it as a reference in the area of health. 2EyesVision, initially promoted by scientists of the CSIC in collaboration with engineers and ophthalmologists of reference, has the backing of CDTI, currently participating in the company through the initiative Innvierte and earlier through the convening Neotec, support for the establishment and consolidation of technology-based enterprises. In addition to the CDTI, public entity of the ministry of science, innovation and universities, supported by ERC, CSIC, community of Madrid, EIT Health, Horizon 2020 (European Union), Bullnet Capital, ENISA and Luminate (international fund for reference as, with headquarters in new York state).

The technology now SimVis, which has received a very favourable in the market, is present in 19 countries, with scientific validation of more than 25 publications and the support of an international Medical Advisory Board.

The CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has closed an operation of investment in this endeavour with BULLNET CAPITAL III, SMES, CAPITAL-RIESGO S.A. (Bullnet Capital) with a sum of €284,000 investment, which is a total of €3 million committed. Thanks to this participation, the CDTI Innovation contributes to the development of disruptive technologies in ophthalmology facilitating decision-making clinics and to enhance the experience of the patient. After closing this institutional round, the company plans to open up opportunities for investment to individual investors.

Bullnet Capital

Bullnet Capital is an independent spanish company with investment in risk, focusing on high-technology companies (software, electronics, semiconductors, photonics). Established in 2002, manages a total of 171 million euros by various investment vehicles. To date, Bullnet Capital has invested in 30 spanish companies in their initial stages and maintains its investment philosophy of adding value and contribute to the day-to-day business portfolio.

Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial innovation through support to the risk capital investment in technology-based enterprises or innovative programme. This is done through the collective investment type closed Innvierte Sustainable Economy SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and under the supervision of the national Values and that the CDTI Innovation is a shareholder Only.

To date, the CDTI innovation has committed 2.847 M €in 63 investment vehicles that have invested in more than 632 companies, and through its joint investment line directly committed an amount of 726 M €in 191 companies.

Innvierte fits into the strategy for science, technology and innovation 2021-2027, adopted by decision of the council of ministers, in september. This 2020 Strategy contains goals, the reforms and measures to be taken throughout the area of r + D + i in order to boost their growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the government's policy in r + D + i for the coming years.

CDTI Innovation

The centre for technological development and innovation, CDTI E.P.E. is the agency for innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities, whose goal is the promotion of technological innovation in business. The CDTI mission is to ensure that the business fabric english generates and transform knowledge into growth científico-técnico globally competitive, sustainable and inclusive.
