The SICC Innvierte of the CDTI Innovation invests in Buenavista Buyout Innvierte III Spain, a fund specialized in investment in Spanish companies with high growth and internationalization potential

With this bet, the CDTI Innovation reaffirms its commitment to investment in companies that use digital technologies and innovate to improve their competitiveness

BUENAVISTA BUYOUT INNVIERTE III ESPAÑA, FCR is a fund managed by BUENAVISTA BUYOUT, SGEIC, SA (Buenavista), which focuses on the low/mid-market segment, mainly in key sectors such as health, industry, services and food with route to implement qualitative improvements, especially related to digitalization, transformation and technological optimization of the participants. This investment vehicle seeks to invest in the majority shares of Spanish companies with high growth and internationalization potential and ability to lead the consolidation of their sector by applying a buy & build strategy.

This fund, with a target size of 250 million euros, aims to achieve between 8 and 10 investments and capacity to carry out add-on operations. In addition, the expected average ticket per investment is between 25 and 30 million euros, which will allow to scale and sophisticate the participating companies, accelerating their growth through the professionalization of their teams, the digitalization of processes, the application of AI and the development of innovation capabilities, with the aim of maximizing their value in highly competitive divestment processes.

Buenavista aspires to create solid, sustainable platforms capable of competing on an international scale.

Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative whose objective is to promote business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. This program is implemented through the closed-ended collective investment company Innvierte Economía Permanente SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and subject to the supervision of the National Securities Market Commission and of which CDTI Innovation is a single shareholder.

To date, the CDTI Innovation has committed, through Innvierte, 3,478.5 M€ in 61 investment vehicles and, through its co-investment line, has directly committed an amount of 866.1 M€ in 197 companies.

Innvierte is part of the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved by Agreement of the Council of Ministers, in September 2020. This Strategy contains the objectives, reforms and measures that must be adopted throughout the field of R+D+I in order to boost its growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the Government's R+D+I policy for the coming years is based.
