Innvierte allocates in February more than 50 million euros to 8 new co-investments in risk capital and 1 investment vehicle

Since January 2026, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment operations in 15 companies with a commitment of 20.3 million euros and has committed investments in 2 investment vehicles with a commitment of 61 million euros

These operations, carried out in EBTs, are aimed at developments in the Bio, Health and Agri-Food, Energy and Environment, ICT and Industry sectors.

The CDTI Innovation, promoter and sole shareholder of the company Innvierte, closed, last February, 8 co-investment operations, 1 of them strategic, amounting to 12,649,000 euros, in particular:

  • INNOVATIVE CSR TECHNOLOGIES AND CONSULTING, S.L. APLANET, (Vizcaya) is a company that develops a technological platform for the management of aspects related to Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability: non-financial information with environmental, social and economic indicators. The investment is made with Michelena Ventures, SL, and EDP Ventures II, SIC of capital of Risco Fechada, S.A., and the contribution of the CDTI is 180,000 euros.

  • BASQUEVOLT, S.A. (Vitoria-Gasteiz) is positioned as a leading agent in the technological transformation towards the next generation of solid-state batteries, through the development of a proprietary hybrid-polymer electrolyte technology that will facilitate, among other applications, the mass adoption of electric mobility. The tracking investment is made with Next Technology Ventures II, FCR. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 1,395,000 euros.

  • BITSPHI DIAGNOSIS, S.L. (Madrid) is a company that is transforming the standard of neurodiagnosis by creating solutions based on Electroencephalography (EEG) activity using brain connectivity patterns. The investment is made with BULLNET CAPITAL III, a venture capital company SME, S.A. and ACE 53, SLU and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 284,000 euros.

  • CANDAM TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (Barcelona) is a company specialized in the development of IoT technology to digitize the waste cycle and pioneer in the characterization of packaging, which is dedicated to the design and distribution of patented hardware and software tools to favor the selective collection in incentive programs, deposit and return systems, and generation rates for the public and private sector. La inversión se realiza con InnoEnergy, SC CLIMATE TECH VENTURES FUND I, F.C.R.E. and SC CLIMATE TECH VENTURES I, F.C.R.E., S.A. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 95,000 euros.

  • GRODI AGROTECH, S.L. (Almería) is a company specialized in autonomous robotics and artificial vision that has developed an innovative system to respond to the specific challenges of Mediterranean intensive agriculture. Its proposal allows producers, cooperatives, research centers and seed houses to work with objective, standardized and continuous information, reducing uncertainties and improving decision-making. The investment is made with SWANLAAB INNVIERTE AGRIFOOD TECH, FCR and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 500,000 euros.

  • LUXQUANTA TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (Barcelona) es una empresa de ciberseguridad cuántica especializada en Distribución Cuántica de Claves de Variables Continuas (CV-QKD). The company develops and markets secure quantum encryption solutions to protect global communications from present and future threats, including quantum computing. With the mission of making quantum security accessible, Luxquanta offers solutions to the telecommunications, public administration, data center and critical infrastructure sectors around the world. The investment is made with BSV IV ARIADNE, F.C.R.E. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 892,000 euros.

  • PEPTOMYC, S.L. (Barcelona) is a biotechnology company focused on the development of innovative cancer therapies based on mini-proteins capable of directly inhibiting MYC, one of the main engines of tumor proliferation, cell survival and resistance to cancer treatments. By blocking MYC, Peptomyc opens the door to a new generation of targeted therapies potentially applicable to multiple types of cancer in which MYC plays a key role, with the aim of significantly improving the survival and quality of life of patients. The investment is made through ALTA LIFE SCIENCES SPAIN I FCR, a fund that has been advised by Asabys Partners since the merger of Aliath Bioventures with Asabys in October 2025. The contribution of CDTI Innovation amounts to 630,000 euros, helping to promote the clinical development of this disruptive technology in oncology.

In addition, in the line of strategic companies, CDTI Innovation has committed 8,673,000 euros in the company PAYLOAD AEROSPACE, S.L. (Alicante), which develops technologies for launching small satellites.

Since January 2026, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment operations in 15 companies with a commitment of 20.3 million euros and has committed investments in 2 investment vehicles with a commitment of 61 million euros.


Investment vehicles

In addition, last February, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has committed investments in an investment vehicle amounting to 37.5 million euros. In particular:

  • ALEOS FUND I is a fund with a target size of 150 million euros and hard cap of 240 million euros, managed by Aleos Capital SGEIC, S.A. (Madrid). The fund specialises in investing in Spanish and Portuguese SMEs in the biosciences sector, in three verticals: health and welfare, sustainable nutrition and climate and environment. In February 2026, the first closure of the fund was made for an amount greater than 150 million euros, already exceeding the target size of the vehicle. The commitment of the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, is 37.5 million euros.


Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative whose objective is to promote business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. This program is implemented through the closed-ended collective investment company Innvierte Economía Permanente SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and subject to the supervision of the National Securities Market Commission and of which CDTI Innovation is a single shareholder.

To date, the CDTI Innovation has committed, through Innvierte, 3,215.5 M€ in 57 investment vehicles and, through its co-investment line, has directly committed an amount of 865.9 M€ in 197 companies.

Innvierte is part of the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved by Agreement of the Council of Ministers, in September 2020. This Strategy contains the objectives, reforms and measures that must be adopted throughout the field of R+D+I in order to boost its growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the Government's R+D+I policy for the coming years is based.
