The CDTI Innovation Council allocates more than 35 million euros for 38 new business R&D&I projects

Of the 36 companies involved in the development of these projects, 14 receive funding from CDTI Innovation for the first time and 25 are SMEs. Of the 38 operations approved, 16 are co-financed with POPE 2021-2027 funds and 1 with MRR funds

The Board of Directors of the CDTI Innovation, Public Business Entity (E.P.E.) Attached to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, it has approved 38 new R&D&I projects with a total budget of 49.99 million euros, of which the CDTI Innovation will contribute 35.01 million euros and include a non-refundable tranche of 4.72 million euros. The number of operations approved by the CDTI Innovation is 38 and all projects belong to the loan modality.

The development of these projects involves 36 companies, of which 14 receive funding from the CDTI Innovation for the first time and 25 are SMEs. These companies have 80 people dedicated to the proposed objectives.

The Multiregional Operational Program of Spain 2021-2027 allows the CDTI Innovation to offer a non-refundable tranche of up to 30% to projects that have cofinancing of this program, regardless of the size of the beneficiary.

MRR cofinancing allows CDTI Innovation to offer a non-refundable tranche of up to 33% in the ISCIII-CDTI initiative (TransMisiones 2023).
