The CDTI Innovation launches the reconvening NEOTEC 2025 20 million in grants for projects and headed by women,

The centre for technological development and innovation (CDTI), the agency for innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities, open on 12 may 2008 the period of applications for the reconvening of the programme NEOTEC 2025, with a total budget of €20 million in the form of grants of which 5 million are exclusively for armoured line Neotec Women. This call will finance projects of small businesses in any field of technology and sectoral and maintains the intensity of aid for those beneficiaries who, at least a doctor to improve its absorption capacities and knowledge generation, raising the maximum funding of 70 per cent to 85 per cent of eligible budget ceilings, with grant 250,000 and 325,000, respectively.

Iran subsidies aimed at financing projects of innovative small businesses (tecnological companies EBTs) with a vocation of growth that require the use of technologies and knowledge developed since the research activity and where the business strategy is based on the development of our own technology in the domain and intensive scientific and technological knowledge, thereby contributing to the enterprise and accelerating the transfer of knowledge from public research bodies and universities.

In line with the previous editions, Neotec 2025 continues with the action initiated by 2022 and retains the possibility of providing access to specialized training provided by the “ Enterprise Innovation Institute, university of Georgia (Atlanta, usa), to strengthen the training of businesses and their chances of success in the market, provide the knowledge of spanish companies technology-based entrepreneurial ecosystem of the united states and to provide expertise in areas such as innovation for sustainability - both environmental and negocio-, new strategies for business or internationalization processes, among others. The top 20 projects seeking access to such training will be able to see increased aid in up to 10,000 euros.

Between 2015 and 2024, the programme NEOTEC has adopted more than 1,000 NEOTEC projects, CDTI about eur 250 million.

The program profile NEOTEC and 2025

Subsidies may apply to small technology-based enterprises with less than three years old and a minimum capital stock of 20 000 euros, that have not distributed benefits nor are listed on a stock market, except the alternative platforms.

The submission of applications will be open from 12 may to 12 june 2025, at 12:00 h (peninsular time), through theelectronic site CDTI.

Aid to finance up to 70 per cent of the business plan submitted and projects, which are due to start on 1 january 2026, and in case of annual plan, finalize, before 31 december 2026, or extended to multi-year projects until 31 december 2027, must have a minimum budget of €175,000 and a limit of 250,000 per beneficiary. However, the projects that employ doctors as provided by the call will be up to 85 per cent of funding of their business plan, with a limit of 325,000 euros. In Addition, the amount of aid will increase by up to 10,000 euros if requested access to specialized training offered by the conference.

Furthermore, following the final resolution of concession, it is possible to advance up to 60 per cent of the grant, with a cap of 150 000 €, without collateral or security.

The objective is to finance initiatives whose business model is based on the intensive domain of scientific and technological knowledge, thereby contributing to the enterprise and the transfer of r & D from government agencies and universities

However, the projects that employ doctors as provided by the call will be up to 85 per cent of funding of their business plan, with a limit of 325,000 euros. In Addition, the amount of aid will increase by up to 10,000 euros if requested access to specialized training offered by the conference.

Will not be eligible to receive payments the business projects whose business model is based primarily on services to third parties own technology development. They may not be entitled to aid those initiatives that do not clearly reflect in its business continuity in the development of technology or those which directly or indirectly, causing significant harm the environment. Specifically, all proceedings in the convening NEOTEC 2025 should respect the principle of non-cause significant harm the environment (principle DNSH -Do Not Significant Harm), leading to the implementation of specific conditions relating to mitigation and adaptation to climate change, sustainable use and protection of water resources and marine resources, transition to a circular economy, prevention and control of pollution and protecting and restoring biodiversity and ecosystems.
