The CDTI Innovation publishes the Sustainability and Activity Report 2024

The Sustainability and Activity Report 2024 provides a global and detailed view of the agency’s performance during the last financial year, as well as the impact generated through its financing activity and support for business R+D+i.

The report presents an analysis of the impact of the projects approved in 2024 from an economic, environmental and social perspective, incorporating environmental, social and good governance (ESG) criteria. In this context, it examines how the actions financed contribute to the reduction of environmental impact, the promotion of social development and the strengthening of good governance practices.

Likewise, the document reflects the alignment of the projects with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), showing their distribution both by SDG orientation and by volume of aid granted, which allows us to clearly visualize the contribution of the CDTI Innovation to the priorities of the 2030 Agenda.

As a highlight of this edition, the report incorporates seven representative projects, selected for their ability to illustrate how public financing in R+D+I channeled through the CDTI Innovation translates into real transformations and tangible benefits for society.

The publication of this report reinforces the commitment of CDTI Innovation to transparency, accountability and the integration of sustainability as a transversal axis of its action, consolidating its role as a key instrument of the Spanish system of science, technology and innovation.
