The CDTI Innovation integrates as an institutional partner the deep-tech ecosystem SECPHO to dynamize and promote the transfer of frontier technologies
- The CDTI Innovation is incorporated as the first institutional partner to the ecosystem specialized in deep-tech technologies SECPHO to strengthen the institutional connection with agents of high technological intensity and expand the capacities of dynamization, knowledge exchange and early identification of trends and capacities
- The accession consolidates an alliance aimed at promoting the deep-tech ecosystem from an institutional approach and aligned with the CDTI Strategic Plan 2024–2027: more capillary, more sectoral intelligence and more tools to articulate networks and transfer activities
- The CDTI Innovation opens a flexible collaboration framework for activations, content and specialized connections with companies and deep-tech centers, reinforcing its positioning as a public reference agent in border technologies
The CDTI Innovation, the state innovation agency of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, has been integrated as the first institutional partner of the SECPHO ecosystem, a hub specialized in deep-tech technologies that connects companies, knowledge centers and scientific-technological agents with high innovative intensity. This accession strengthens the positioning of the CDTI as a public reference agent in border technologies and expands its capacities of institutional relationship, dynamization of ecosystems and exchange of knowledge with actors especially active in the field of technological innovation.
SECPHO articulates its activity around six service vectors for its members (ecosystem, market, public funding, capital, talent and knowledge), combining sectoral directories, reference publications, specialized networking activities, knowledge meetings and actions aimed at the deployment of technological capabilities and business development. In this framework, the CDTI Innovation is incorporated with an institutional profile focused on strengthening a stable relationship with a dynamic and highly segmented deep-tech ecosystem, with the potential to generate synergies in areas such as transfer, technological cooperation, internationalization, the identification of trends and the qualified visibility of innovation initiatives.
The accession of the CDTI responds to the lines of action foreseen in the Strategic Plan 2024–2027, which identifies the impulse to deep-tech and the articulation of transfer activities as transversal axes, and places alliances as facilitating levers to multiply capacities, strengthen networks and articulate ecosystems. In a context in which technology advances at great speed and specialized ecosystems tend to concentrate knowledge, talent and sectoral connections, this type of collaboration contributes to provide public action with greater capillarity, specialization and proximity to the actors that lead emerging technological developments. This dynamic space is a flexible and useful relationship framework, which will allow us to activate specific initiatives where there are opportunities for exchange and collaboration, with a soft approach based on the identification of spaces of added value and synergies.
In particular, the incorporation of the CDTI as an institutional partner is also a unique step in the context of SECPHO, as it is the first public entity to join as a member. Therefore, this alliance is also conceived as an opportunity to co-design a medium-term relationship model that maximizes institutional utility and strengthens the role of the CDTI as an articulator of networks, knowledge and transfer in the deep-tech field.
SECPHO’s ecosystem experience and service catalog open up a range of possibilities for institutional collaboration in different areas of action and, in terms of added value, will allow CDTI Innovation to operate more effectively in qualified introductions, access to highly specialized communities, sectoral reading and an institutional presence based more on utility than mere visibility.
