The CDTI Innovation reinforces its commitment with startups and technology-based enterprises through programmes that promote investment, innovation and business growth, consolidating its role as a key player in the momentum of innovative entrepreneurship in spain
The centre for technological development and innovation (CDTI Innovation) reinforces its support to the ecosystem of startups and innovative companies in spain and, on the occasion of the international commemoration of the undertaking, recently held the meeting "The CDTI" with entrepreneurs, to continue with the dissemination of tools and actions in this area. The meeting was attended by José Moisés Martín Checker, Director General of the CDTI Innovation; José María Up Blasco, executive Director of growth and competitiveness; and spanish Leopoldo Belda, chief, General Mechanical Area and Construction of the spanish patents and trademark bureau (OEPM).
Impetus to technology-based enterprises
During the day, the Programme was highlighted NEOTEC, which is aimed at promoting the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises (EBTs) base your business strategy at the intensive domain of scientific and technical knowledge. The CDTI Innovation provides a subsidy to those companies that have been selected in each call. It is anticipated that the convening NEOTEC 2025 will open next may.

Support programmes for technology companies startups and submitted by the CDTI innovation in this day was within the CDTI strategy for the period 2024-2027, which seeks to broaden the number of innovative enterprises, promote innovation disruptive manner and to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem english. The strategic Plan for the CDTI established lines of action designed to promote the growth of these companies, facilitating their access to finance and promote international technology cooperation, with a view to improving the competitiveness of the spanish economy and strengthen its technological empowerment.
