THE CDTI Innovation seeks to help spanish companies with south korea in an r & D related with Artificial Intelligence

The Institute for Advanced Engineering (IAE) and the korean company Visionplus seeking a spanish company interested in participating in a r & D project focused on the development of a marine monitoring system based on Artificial Intelligence

Búsqueda de socios Corea del Sur 09Oct25
International technology cooperation in the field of marine monitoring intelligent

The project aims to develop an integrated monitoring system capable of simultaneously observe and long-term key marine parameters necessary for the design of marine parks, as the speed and direction of the wind, the intensity of turbulence, ocean currents or temperature of the sea.

To that end, it is expected to implement algorithms of measurement and analysis in real time, together with forecasting models based on Big Data, by integrating LiDAR sensors, technology and floating platforms of data acquisition.

R & D activities will focus on:

  • Deployment of snap points, including sensórica and LiDAR.
  • Development of technologies to corrective information (signal filtering, spike removal, data smoothing, methods of calculation) and to ensure the consistency of the same.
  • Design of systems for compensating the movements and their suitability marine environmental ocean environment.
  • Development of a module of processing and display of data through Artificial intelligence.
  • Implementation of a system for monitoring of ocean currents through sensórica and ai algorithms.
  • Demonstration of the field of technology in the above-described platform based on Artificial intelligence.

The korean consortium seeks cooperation spanish companies that can contribute to:

  • The joint development of correction algorithms in the intensity of the turbulence (IT) and their adaptation/optimization for different settings, establishing an international standardization through correction technologies and compensation of the movement of floating corpses.
  • The development of filtering modules, elimination outlier, signal processing and analysis of the impact of the movement by simulations and complementary algorithms.
  • The development of wind flow analysis and tides based on Big standing and predictive algorithms of IA.

The proposal put forward will be submitted to theconvening KSSP 2025-2026between spain and south korea that until 28 january 2026.
