The CDTI Innovation seeks a Spanish company to collaborate with Taiwan in the development of pharmaceutical formulations for topical use
The Taiwanese company UNI-TONGXIN Co., Ltd. seeks a Spanish company to develop an R&D project focused on modern pharmaceutical formulations for topical use that incorporate traditional methods and ingredients of Chinese medicine
Uni-TongXin BioTech is dedicated to the development of bioactive compounds derived from traditional Chinese medicine, combining modern medical and pharmaceutical approaches with the aim of transforming classic formulas based on medicinal plants into scientifically validated products. To this end, the company works in the extraction of herbal active compounds, the profiling of ingredients and the carrying out of tests, developing its manufacturing processes in accordance with ISO 22000 and HACCP standards, in collaboration with GMP certified pharmaceutical manufacturers. This approach makes it possible to guarantee scalability from the R&D phase to its future commercialization.
This company has developed a formulation based on traditional Chinese medicine, already scientifically validated, with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, oriented to its application in topical products such as liquid solutions, ointments, gels and dermal patches.
The proposed collaboration is oriented to the participation of Spanish pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies in the development and adaptation of these formulations for topical applications. Likewise, a second line of work focused on the development of medical devices for the application of the final product is contemplated, as well as a third future line oriented to its incorporation in functional health products.
The proposal aims to present the TSIP 2026 call between Spain and Taiwan, which is scheduled to open on September 7, 2026 and will end on November 19, 2026.
