The CDTI Innovation search a spanish company to work with Egypt in an r & D for the treatment of wastewater in the petrochemical industry

This proposal, which is part of theEgyptian Petroleum Research Institute, government entity that has more than 4,000 employees and extensive experience in applied research projects, seeks to develop a pilot reactor able to eliminate the residues of crude oil and/or condensate present in wastewater in the sector. The prototype, which will be validated in petrochemical company, will combine egyptian stages filtration, biological and chemical treatment, apart from the development of nanocompuestos and simulation of the system through artificial intelligence. The ultimate aim is to replicate this solution in egyptian oil industries.

The proposal aims to be submitted to the call 2025 for the development of r & D projects between spanish and egyptian entities within the framework of theInnovation programme Egipto-españa (ESIP, by its initials in english), open until 3 december 2025.
