The CDTI Innovation search a spanish company to work with south korea in an r & D related to technologies applied to semiconductors

Both theKorea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST)as theNational Institute for Nanomaterials Technology (NINT)working in the synthesis of advanced semiconductor and quantum developing devices and power MOSFETs, manufacturing and sensors based on SiC, won and If, as well as comprehensive electric characterizations and structural analysis at nano level.

AP Systemsfor its part, is a south korean company specialized in advanced equipment for the manufacture of screens and semiconductors, offering solutions for OLED processes, LCD and semi-systems, including laser annealed, OLED and encapsulation of chemical systems vapour plasma enhanced (PECVD).

The project aims to develop a process of laser annealed UV on the back, adapted to substrates of SiC and GaN, improving performance of the device, maintaining the integrity of the substrate and compatibility with the CMOS integration, which meets the needs of foundries and manufacturers of integrated circuits of power that seek to reduce the temperature of the process and improve performance.

The consortium korean wants to identify a spanish company with experience in laser Lens UV, interaction láser-material or systems from annealed precision laser. Will also be assessed the experience in broadband semiconductor (SiC or GaN), especially in packaging back-end or processes. The partner may be a developer of an advanced materials processor or a specialized R & D in processing thermal laser.

The proposal put forward will be submitted to theconvening KSSP 2025 – 2026,which is scheduled at the end of september 2025.
