The CDTI Innovation seeks a Spanish company to collaborate with the United States in energy storage technologies
The American company PolyJoule, Inc. is looking for a Spanish company to collaborate in the development of advanced energy storage technologies based on conductive polymers
PolyJoule, Inc. is an American startup derived from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) dedicated to the development of conductive polymer based technology for energy storage applications.
The company is looking for a partner in Spain to be part of a consortium and develop the manufacturing and certification process in the following areas of application based on batteries developed by the US company:
- Mobility based on conductive polymer batteries.
- Systems in ultra-fast charging infrastructures, recharging hubs and network stabilization solutions.
- Hybrid configurations where polymer batteries complement lithium-ion systems, improving safety, thermal stability and service life.
- Heavy or specialized mobility, where weight or volume are not critical factors, such as mining, ports, railways or the maritime sector.
This bilateral project between Spain and the United States could be framed in the International Technological Cooperation Projects with certification and unilateral monitoring or in the Cervera Technology Transfer R&D Projects.
