The CDTI Innovation done within the framework of the Pre-Commercial Public Purchase, delivery to the CSIC of prototypes of NEUROMODULACIÓN project

The CDTI Innovation is moving in the deployment of deliveries of prototypes of multiple proceedings of public procurement in the area of initiatives co-financed by the mechanism for the recovery and resilience (MRR) and european funds ERDF 2021-2027.
In particular, today, we have had occasion to the state agency Consejo Superior de Investigaciones científicas (CSIC) of the two prototypes for the draft purchase NEUROMODULACIÓN pre-commercial public service of r & D in the area of non-invasive technologies, an initiative co-financed by the mechanism for the recovery and resilience.
Modern treatments, as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or electrical stimulation Transcraneal (TES), cannot cross the blood-brain barrier, which limits their effectiveness. Therefore, the development of new therapies neurological disorders and technologies that interact directly with the brain is gaining importance. These tools not only offer non-intrusive access to the central nervous system, but also allow you to try and exploring new drugs to treat diseases occur.
In response to these challenges, it has developed an innovative solution that will be tested and validated by the CSIC and to be successfully overcome all stages in the clinical research that can benefit from new technologies. The budget basis of this tender has been eur 20 million and, following validation, will be developed in a full implementation of 24 months.
The act has not been present, by the CDTI innovation, its Director-General, José Moisés Martín Checker, and mary Vega Gil, director of certification and Public Purchase innovative CDTI. On the part of the CSIC, have assisted its President, Eloisa del Pino and Pilar López, Director of the institute of biomedical research “ Sols-Morreale ” of the CSIC. Also, in the submission of the solution with the participation of representatives of the foundation Tecnalia and Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
From 2018, CDTI Innovation drives the purchase of the public in the Pre-Commercial modality (CPP). Under this instrument, the CDTI services Innovation acquires R & D to develop prototypes of first products or services, in the form of test series technologically innovative, and that would meet public needs. The prototype developed within the framework of these Cpc caving in to spanish Public Entity that is interested in the same and to provide the necessary environment for real validate the technology developed. The prototype will be used only as a technology demonstrator, in order to validate technology, not for commercial purposes. These initiatives are co-financed mainly from european funds.
