The CDTI innovation mobilizes the spanish and ibero-american ecosystem around public purchase innovative and open innovation from 19 to 21 november in Grenada

The CDTI innovation, the agency for innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities, organizes and promotes the holding in Spain of the forum of ibero-american public Purchase Innovation (ICC) and open innovation, a multisectoral reference convening in spain and latin america to the momentum and consolidating public purchase innovation as a tool to generate demand warning of r & D and allow the boarding and the development of technological solutions of high social impact. The objective of the CDTI Innovation, for editing 2025 of the forum, to be held at the palais des congrès in Granada from 19 to 21 november 2025, is to strengthen networking among key actors involved in the icc: administrations, centres of knowledge, businesses tractoras, innovative smes, technological platforms, clusters and business associations, specialized consultancies.
With this call, the CDTI Innovation strengthens its aim of strengthening the public innovation and positioned spain as a leader in innovation Public Purchase ibero-american level. The collaboration between all actors of the system is known as the winning formula to accelerate the adoption of solutions that improve disruptive public services and quality of life of citizens.
The forum 2025 CPI is divided into six nodes simultaneous work, each of which is designed around specific challenges, since codiseño of public notices relating to implementation of disruptive solutions in health, transport or energy, through innovative formats as inspiring pills, discussion panels, showroom solutions, B2B meetings, workshops and challenges. This enables maximum swappage technical and the creation of synergies, ensuring that each participant will find agent spaces adapted to your profile and needs.
Under the slogan “ ecosystem CPI: Together we solve problems public impact ”, the CDTI Innovation addresses the edition 2025 since its definition of innovative public procurement as a key instrument to enhance private investment in technology and reduce the risk of innovative developments. Between 2025-2026, calls for Icc of the CDTI and line ministry FID science, innovation and universities will mobilize together up to 250 million euros in tenders for technological solvers.
The Forum ICC counts with the collaboration of the inter-american development bank (IDB), the american government procurement network (RICG), oas and the galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), entities that drive the initiative since its first edition of 2018. Institutional backup reinforces the international projection of the event and facilitates the participation of government agencies and companies of ibero-american ecosystem. In past editions, more than 22 countries have been represented, providing success stories, lessons learned and common challenges that fuel the discussion and the co-production of solutions.
In addition to the exchange of good practices, the forum CPI offers opportunities for networking. Participants will have the opportunity to close B2B meetings, submit its capacities in the Showroom of Innovative Solutions and participate in informal meetings would facilitate progress on strategic partnerships. These interactions will favour the potential for the creation of consortia público-privados able to submit joint proposals for future tenders, to strengthen the business fabric and technological centres of the country.
In Granada is also held the III awards "route ICC ”, which recognizes exemplary initiatives into four categories: Attitude ICC (people with transformative leadership), strategy ICC (institutional programmes), ICC Project (completed tenders) and retraining Offer CPI, aimed at strengthening the capacities of the private sector. The nominations shall remain open until 31 july 2025 and the winners will be announced during the forum, including raising the profile of quick-impact projects and stimulating the replication of successful models.
