Open the so-called Eureka Globalstars with japan for projects of international cooperation in r & D

Eureka and agencyNEDOmake a new call Globalstars with japan, whose aim is to promote international cooperation in r & D projects between companies in japan and the Eureka participate in the so-called, including spain.

Projects should be geared towards obtaining a product, process or innovative service for civilian use and with clear guidance to the market. The target date of commencement of the approved projects is 1 july 2026.

The consortium should include at least two independent companies:

• A japanese company medium-sized or small (according to the japanese law), non-listed companies, with his principal place of r & D in japan and the relationship between r & D expenditure in sales and 5 per cent or more, according to their latest financial statement
• A company of one of the Eureka participants as may be Spain.

Furthermore, each project will require the participation of at least two countries without which no country exceeds 70% of the budget. This budget should be consistent with the scope of the developments arising and with the technical and financial capacity of the participants.

The multi-cluster is known, Only to exclude nuclear technologies and development of pharmaceuticals and regenerative medicine (although they are eligible for the development of technology in support of the discovery of drugs, supporting technology to accelerate the development of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and technology of medical evidence).

The proposals adopted will receive the seal Eureka, which constitutes an international recognition to the level of technology in the initiative, and in the case of this call, enables access to public funding. Each participating country financed their own entities. In Spain, the projects will be supported through the instruments of CDTI Innovation tor & D projects in international cooperation.

Submission of proposals

For the international stage, the international consortium must complete your applications through the portal of Eureka:eureka.smartsimple.ie. The project leader is who will begin the application in the portal Eureka and then invite the other members to enter the site and also work on that request.

In addition, the consortium english shall record,until 21 january 2026 23:59 GMThis request, in the internationalElectronic site CDTI. You must register the application of international project (a single registry, although there is more than a spanish entity) within the category of International Technology Cooperation, subcategory Eureka. This request, in addition to the web form, attach signed the international application which is now before the EUREKA portal (Eureka Application Form) and a draft of the Consortium.

In parallel, a spanish company that want to be eligible for financing will have to send CDTI, also through the electronic site CDTI, a request for assistance to r & D project (PID)until 23:59 GMT on 28 january 2026.
