Apply for 2025 of “ Sustainable Partnership Cofund Blue Economy Partnership ”

Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership (SBEP)it is a european partnership co-financed by the european commission within the framework of the programme Horizon europe, which aims at boosting the transformation towards a neutral climáticamente blue economy, sustainable, productive and competitive for 2030.

This initiative consists of a network of 60 institutions of 25 countries, in addition to the european commission, which brings together efforts to coordinate investment in research and innovation and aligning national programmes on a pan-european scale, taking into account the scale of the main sea basins -mediterráneo, black sea, and the Baltic Sea - as well as the atlantic ocean.

Convening 2025

The convening 2025 has an estimated budget44.3 million eurosand with the involvement offunding partners 38 organizations from 28 countries(20 Member states, five partner countries and one third country), including spain, through the state investigation agency (AEI) and the CDTI Innovation.

This third call aligns itself with the objectives of theDecade of ocean sciences for sustainable development of United Nationsand seeks to promote sustainable solutions that promote green transitions digital and economic activities related to oceans, seas and coastal areas.

Projects should address one of the five priority areas identified in the invitation shall:

• Digital twins of the ocean basin scale
• Transition from sectors of the economy and infrastructure development multipurpose marine
• Planning and intelligent management of the use of the sea to climate change
• Marine Biorecursos: sustainable fisheries and aquaculture products, and new biological
• Coastal communities and enterprises resilient

Proposals should be presented by international consortia composed of entities of at least three participating countries. In this regard, to facilitate the establishment of consortia, a professionallysearch tool of partners.

It is recommended that the proposals includeat least two european sea basinsamong the following: Baltic sea, Black sea, Mediterranean Sea, North sea and Atlantic ocean. May also address regional european seas such as the adriatic, the aegean, the arctic, Barents, Celta, etc.

It was particularly encouraged the participation of social and economic actors (smes, authorities and civil associations) as full partners or self-financed with a view to strengthening the impact and the applicability of results.

Aid from the CDTI Innovation

The CDTI Innovation willaid to spanish companies through grantwith a tailor-made amount depending on the real eligible cost of the project, the characteristics of the beneficiary and the budgetary availability of up to 70 per cent of the budget be financed.

Requests

The deadline for submission of proposals will be open from 15 september to 17 november 2025.

Cada empresa española que participe en un consorcio deberá enviar, a través de laelectronic site CDTI Innovation, aalong with preliminary application deadline, 17 november 2025. This application is an online form accompanied by a spanish technical memory describing r & D and the budget of the company involvement in the proposal.
