REGISTRATION PROCESS (closed)

The company selection process is competitive. In other words, the candidates will go through an internal CDTI evaluation process that will select the applications most suited to the profile of the investors.

The selected companies will go through training (free of charge) in business model definition and searching for funding. In addition, each company will be assigned a specialised coach who will help them to align their business model with the interests of private investors in their sector, as well as to prepare their presentation at the forum.

Two documents will be requested during the evaluation process:

  • Executive summary of the company (2–4 pages)
  • Presentation of the company directed at investors (10–15 pages)

The executive summary can be downloaded here: Download document

The company presentation does not have a fixed format, although it should follow the same script as the executive summary.

The CDTI supports the growth of Spanish start-ups primarily through its INNVIERTE programme (1) and the NEOTEC call for grants (2).

  1. The INNVIERTE programme aims to boost the growth of technology-based companies with high growth potential through venture capital investment. The CDTI is currently participating in 17 investment vehicles in seed capital, venture capital and risk capital
  2. NEOTEC is a call for applications offering grants of up to €250,000 to new innovative companies.

The investment forums are part of the CAMPUS CDTI initiative, which aims to provide a set of high added-value services to new Spanish technology-based companies to facilitate their growth and consolidation..
