Joint call KSSP 2025-2026 between spain and Korea
The centre for technological development and innovation (CDTI, E.P.E.), the ministry of Science, innovation and universities, and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KYATS), have reached an agreement with the aim of publishing the third joint call for the submission of Proposals for International Technology Cooperation focused on ai and semiconductors.
The time of submission of proposals will cover the period from the24 september 2025 until 28 january 2026this objective to kick-start projects on 1 august 2026.

By their agreement, the CDTI KYATS and undertake to promote, support and financing joint technological projects of corporate entities korean and spanish, which can be supported by non-business by the spanish part must be as subcontractors.
The convening 2025-2026 KSSP programme, managed by the agencies and KYATS CDTI, aid has an associated on a grant to support projectsthe large scope and high impactin technologies that are anchored in any of the topics identified for this year:Ai and semiconductor.
The Programme KSSP avalará approved projects through a quality label "" that besides being a promotional element and recognition of the technological level of the proposal, in the case of this call is made by the creditor of a public funding. Each country will assume the financing of their organizations.
The financing of spanish companies which get the stamp KSSP, will be via a call for grant allocation directly managed by the CDTI (to be issued).

Characteristics of the projects:
Projects should have the following characteristics:
- The outcome of the same must be a product, process or innovative service.
- The consortium should comprise at least two spanish companies (a big or small as a leader and an additional SMES) and an independent, korean, and the project must be relevant for all partners (no country or a member of the partnership must have more than 60% of the budget).
- None of the applicants may participate in more than one consortium to a same sitting. If the case, you will be asked to select a participant that request and to withdraw the rest.
- The duration of projects may be between 12 and 36 months.
- The proposals, provided for civilian use, must be considered in any of the following areas of technology: IA or semiconductors.
- For the spanish part of the consortium, the budget overall objective will be between 2.5 and €6 million and there is need for a minimum budget contribution of the SMES of 10% on the total budget of the spanish part. The budget must be consistent with the developments and to make the technical capacity/financial assistance of the participants.
In addition, participants should sign a consortium to specify the rights and obligations of the parties on the development potential and intellectual property rights, exploitation and sale of the results.
Procedure for submission of proposals:
In the CDTI, the reporting procedure distinguishes betweenInternational Application PCTI-SPSIandApplication of national aid.
For theInternational Application, the participants must submit, in the CDTI and KYATS respectively,until 18:00 h from 28 january 2026(local time in each agency) request on-line KSSP accompanied by the followingmandatory international documentation (in english), common to all partners:KSSP Application Formsigned by all partners.
By the spanish side, the international application (PCTI-SPSI) must be filed on-line throughelectronic site CDTIand it will be a single application by project, although there are two or more spanish companies in the consortium.
At the end of the International Application, CDTI KYATS and begin testing the eligibility of regional proposals. All proposals that meet the characteristics of eligibility for the call will be assessed by a panel of qualified and independent experts with a score. Only those proposals with a total score higher than the threshold default (70 points on 100) will become a sort list (ranking list).
By order of punctuation, may be drawn between 2 and 4 projects, to receive the letter of approval KSSP (awarding the label KSSP) confirming the availability of funds. The allocation of national funds to selected applications will follow the order of the sort list.
Spanish applicants who are receiving KSSP approval letter should communicate with the CDTI because it is mandatory for each participant undertakes the spanishApplication of national aidindividually as indicated in the convening of subsidy for (your privacy notice). The deadline for submission of the application of the National Aid will be the CDTI23 july 2026 at 18:00 h(spanish time).
