In 2012, the CDTI launched the INNVIERTE programme to continue the venture capital investment process it had started in 2006 with NEOTEC, CR.
To this end, it set up two companies: Innvierte Economía Sostenible, S.A., SCR and Innvierte Economía Sostenible Coinversión, S.A., SCR. The latter was absorbed by the former in September 2015, resulting in a single company for which the CDTI is the sole shareholder. This makes the CDTI a business group.
