The CDTI Innovation power technological collaboration with thailand

Both countries have signed a declaration to promote technology cooperation

This event, inaugurated by Felipe DE LA MORENA, ambassador of spain in thailand and Suchada Thaensap, secretary of the Minister of higher education, science, research and Innovation (MHESI), has benefited from the collaboration of this Ministry and the unity of programme management for competitiveness (PMUC) of Thailand.

Thailand is one of the main exporters of agricultural food products and maintains a sophisticated processing industry. Through the national initiative Food Innopolis aimed to become the hub of agri-technologies of the asian region, attracting foreign investment from japan, usa and europe. Moreover, this country has one of the main industrial clusters and agri-food products of the sea at the international level.

One of the new lines and strategic development of thailand is the thrust of the circular economy. In 2021, adopted its economic model Bio-Circular Green (BCG) which integrates bioeconomía circular economy, and the ecological transition as part of an important impetus to transform its economy based on the value and innovation.

Technology cooperation

During this jornada informativa has been discussed bilateral funding scheme (TLSIP – An Innovative Programme of thailand and Spain) implemented jointly by theCDTI Innovationin Spain, and the unit for the management of the programme for competitiveness (PMUC) deTailandia. This programme promotes and funds cooperation on r & D driven by innovation among spanish companies and thai companies and other organizations that carry out R & D.

This event has been framed as a bilateral technology cooperation between the CDTI PMU-C, innovation and the CDTI counterpart agency, with similar functions and acting as financing member agency of r + D + i in thailand. The two agencies undertake to encourage and promote cooperation through actions that include identification of innovative companies in each country, assistance to enterprises for the development of technology partnerships, and the promotion of public awareness on health systems research, technology and innovation.

In this context of international cooperation, has signed a joint statement (Joint Statement Action Plan) to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions to promote technological cooperation between entities of the two countries, supporting projects for technological development and the organization of events on the promotion of technological capabilities in areas of mutual interest.

Delegation of spain

In addition, a spanish delegation composed of AINIA; CNTA; CAPSA FOOD; KIMITEC ORDESA; LABORATORIES; native MACHINES IBERIA; TEBRIO VISCOFAN and has set out its capacities in the development of functional foods and agro-food waste and has submitted its cooperation initiatives and partnership with Thailand.


During the holding of this event, were also organized meetings to spanish companies that are members of the delegation, as well as technical visits to thai entities.

CDTIInnovation

The CDTI Innovation is the agency for financing innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology. The CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.
