Le escribo desde la oficina del ILO de España en CERN, encargada de hacer de enlace entre el CERN y la industria española designado por CDTI.
El CERN (Laboratorio Europeo de Física de Partículas) situado en Ginebra (Suiza) es un organismo internacional para la investigación en física de partículas. Esta Gran Instalación Científica contrata suministros y servicios industriales de alto nivel tecnológico para el diseño, construcción y mantenimiento de sus instalaciones; más de 500 millones de € en 2024.
Le escribo porque se acaba de publicar la documentación para el suministro descrito en la especificación adjunta. Les invito a leerla con detalle:
MS-5111/EP/CMS - Supply of bias voltage power supplies for the CMS Experiment
This Technical Description concerns the procurement of multi-channel DC bias-voltage power supplies for the CMS High-Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) at CERN. The power supplies will be installed 100 m underground in a low-radiation and low-magnetic field environment, supplying voltage/current to Silicon sensors around 100 m from the power supplies. The space allocated for the power supplies is limited, requiring quite high density of channels, as described in this document. Each channel of the system must be fully floating and provide up to negative 800 V and 12.5 mA of current. A total of 5500 channels is required for the full system. Operation of the HGCAL will begin in 2029 and will last until around 2041. Maintenance/repair of the power supplies must be provided throughout the lifetime of the equipment.
This Market Survey will be followed by an Invitation to Tender, planned to be issued in Q4 2025. The first delivery of around 10% is expected to take place within six months from notification of award of the Contract. Around 50% is expected to be delivered around 2028, with the remaining 40% to be delivered a maximum of three years later.

Se había dado de plazo provisional hasta el 29 de octubre de 2025 para enviar el cuestionario técnico, que servirá para seleccionar a las empresas que serán invitadas a ofertar. No obstante, mientras el enlace adjuntado siga accesible, aún sería posible participar, aunque se hubiese vencido el plazo.
