Innvierte allocates in January about 82 million euros to 7 new co-investments in risk capital and 1 investment vehicle

7 co-investment operations amounting to €8,107,000 have been closed and investments in an investment vehicle amounting to €73.5 million have been committed

These operations, carried out in EBTs, are aimed at developments in the Bio, Health and Agri-Food, Energy and Environment, ICT and Industry sectors.

The CDTI Innovation, promoter and sole shareholder of the company Innvierte, closed, last January, 7 co-investment operations amounting to 8,107,000 euros, in particular:

  • BIDASOA METAL 78, S.L. (Guipúzcoa) develops a hydrometallurgical technology for the recovery of precious metals of the platinum group (PGMs), which allows their recovery from catalysts of motor vehicles, with a reduction of 65% of CO2 emissions. The investment is made with GEROA PENTSIOAK EPSV of preferred employment, AMPO, S.COOP. y UN I+d+i TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FCR y la aportación del CDTI Innovación es de 2.092.000 euros.
  • CRAMIK ADDITIVE SOLUTIONS, S.L. (Valencia) is a company with advanced materials technology, specialized in the formulation and use of the world's first universal binder, capable of unlocking applications in ceramic filament technology for 3D printing and industrial ceramic injection. The advanced properties of this binder allow its use in avant-garde sectors such as aerospace, metallurgy or the energy sector. The investment is made with BEABLE INNVIERTE KETS FUND FCR and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 270,000 euros.
  • COCUUS SYSTEM IBERICA, S.L. (Navarra) is a pioneering technological and industrial company in the food industry, specialized in the development and manufacture of advanced industrial solutions that accelerate the arrival of innovations to the customer and facilitate the production of new generation foods. The company has a patented technology, FOOD TO DATA – DATA TO FOOD, which allows to analyze the morphological structure of different foods and generate mathematical models for the development of 3D printing technologies applied to food production on an industrial scale. The investment is made through TECH TRANSFER AGRIFOOD, FCR, with a contribution of 556,000 euros and the participation of the CDTI Innovation, which contributes 503,000 euros.
  • CONNECTA THERAPEUTICS, SL. (Barcelona) is dedicated to the discovery and development of innovative treatments for unmet medical needs in the field of the central nervous system (CNS). Its portfolio includes modulators of neuroplasticity, among which stands out its most advanced program, CTH120, a first-in-class molecule in phase II of clinical development with the potential to become a transforming treatment for Fragile X syndrome and other neurodevelopment disorders. The investment is made with INVEREADY BIOTECH IV SCR, S.A. and INVEREADY BIOTECH IV PARALLEL, SCR, S.A. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 1,575,000 euros.
  • GREENE ENTERPRISE, S.L. (Alicante) is a gasification waste disposal plant operator that has developed a technology that cost-effectively recovers any carbon-containing organic waste. The investment is made with MOIRA CAPITAL DESARROLLO KAPPA TER, FCRE, S.A. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation amounts to 2,767,000 euros.
  • MOLECULAR GATE, S.L. (Barcelona) has developed Polargram™, an authentication technology for packaging and security documents. Polargram™ funciona mediante la impresión de patrones nanoestructurados con tintas moleculares semiconductoras patentadas, capaces de generar efectos ópticos únicos, imposibles de reproducir mediante métodos de impresión o copia convencionales. Each label can be serialized or encoded with a unique optical signature, combining physical (visible) security and digital (hidden) traceability in a single scalable step. Thanks to this technology, the company offers advanced security solutions that reinforce the labelling and packaging of products, significantly increasing their protection against counterfeiting. The investment is made with BEABLE INNVIERTE KETS FUND FCR and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 450,000 euros.
  • NARU INTELLIGENCE SOLUTIONS, S.L. (Guipúzcoa) is specialized in Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems for biomedicine that improve the results in each patient. It develops Machine Learning (ML) technology for the biomedical field that improves the results of health services and helps accelerate clinical and pharmaceutical research. The investment is made with ORZA GESTIÓN Y TENENCIA DE PATRIMONIOS, AIE and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 450,000 euros (counted in 2025).


Investment vehicles

In addition, last January, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has committed investments in an investment vehicle amounting to 73.5 million euros. In particular:

  • ABAC HORIZON FUND INNVIERTE, FCRE is a fund managed by ABAC CAPITAL MANAGER SGEIC, S.A. (Barcelona) with an environmental theme, focused on companies whose environmental impact is directly linked to its main activity. The fund invests in the Lower Mid Market segment (EBITDA between 2 and 5 million euros) with a strategy of taking majority shares in companies that have differentiated value proposals, technological leadership, growth potential, opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency through professionalization, and capacity for international expansion. The commitment of the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, is 73.5 million euros (50 million counted in 2025), which is linked to the commitments of other international investors such as the European Investment Fund and national investors.


Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative whose objective is to promote business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. This program is implemented through the closed-ended collective investment company Innvierte Economía Permanente SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and subject to the supervision of the National Securities Market Commission and of which CDTI Innovation is a single shareholder.

To date, the CDTI Innovation has committed, through Innvierte, 3,183.8 M€ in 57 investment vehicles and, through its co-investment line, has directly committed an amount of 864.3 M€ in 197 companies.

Innvierte is part of the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved by Agreement of the Council of Ministers, in September 2020. This Strategy contains the objectives, reforms and measures that must be adopted throughout the field of R+D+I in order to boost its growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the Government's R+D+I policy for the coming years is based.
