Innvierte allocates in November more than 21 million euros to 5 new co-investments in risk capital

Since January 2025, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment operations in 60 companies with a commitment of 175.23 million euros, and has committed investments in 8 investment vehicles with a commitment of 685.75 million euros

These operations are aimed at various developments in the Bio, Health and Agri-Food, Energy and Environment, ICT and Industry sectors.

The CDTI Innovation, promoter and sole shareholder of the company Innvierte, closed, last November, 5 co-investment operations, 1 of them strategic, amounting to 21,348,000 euros, in particular: 
 

  • ETOSHI TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (ATANI) (Madrid) desarrolla una plataforma integral de inversión en activos digitales. The follow-up investments are made with RELATED VENTURES FCR and JME VENTURES III, FCR and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 180,000 euros.
  • BASQUEVOLT, S.A. (Vitoria-Gasteiz) is positioned as a leading agent in the technological transformation towards the next generation of solid-state batteries, through the development of a proprietary hybrid-polymer electrolyte technology that will facilitate, among other applications, the mass adoption of electric mobility. The follow-up investment is made with VITAL BANKING FOUNDATION and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 3,600,000 euros.
  • POLYMERBIO, S.L. (San Sebastián-Donostia) is a biotechnology company dedicated to the research, design, development and manufacture of biodegradable medical devices based on polymeric biomaterials, oriented in a first phase to the treatment of urethral stenosis. The investment is made with Orza Gestión y Tenencia de Patrimonios AIE and Kutxa Fundazioa; and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 450,000 euros.
  • SMART PROTECTION, S.L. (Madrid) is a technology company dedicated to combating piracy and counterfeiting on the Internet. The investment is made with SWANLAAB GIZA INNVIERTE I, FCR and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 135,000 euros.

In addition, in the line of strategic companies, CDTI Innovation has committed 17,163,000 euros in the company BOUND 4 BLUE, S.L. (Cantabria) that develops wind propulsion systems for maritime transport (rigid sails), which reduce consumption and pollution by up to 30%.

Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative whose objective is to promote business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. This program is implemented through the closed-ended collective investment company Innvierte Economía Permanente SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and subject to the supervision of the National Securities Market Commission and of which CDTI Innovation is a single shareholder.

To date, the CDTI Innovation has committed, through Innvierte, 2,885.8 M€ in 54 investment vehicles and, through its co-investment line, has directly committed an amount of 829.4 M€ in 197 companies.

Innvierte is part of the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved by Agreement of the Council of Ministers, in September 2020. This Strategy contains the objectives, reforms and measures that must be adopted throughout the field of R+D+I in order to boost its growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the Government's R+D+I policy for the coming years is based.
