Innvierte allocates in the months of July and August more than 11 million euros to 9 new co-investments in risk capital
Since January 2026, the CDTI Innovation, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment operations in 38 companies with a commitment of 85.9 million euros and has committed investments in 10 investment vehicles with a commitment of 650.1 million euros
The CDTI Innovation, promoter and sole shareholder of the company Innvierte, has closed, in the last months of July and August, 9 co-investment operations, one of them strategic, amounting to 11,295,000 euros, in particular:
- ALLOSTERY EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (Barcelona) is a company that develops its own technological platform, combining biology and computational technology, to identify allosteric sites in proteins relevant to the treatment of diseases. The discovery of these new allosteric sites will pave the way for the design and development of new, more specific and selective drugs. The investment is made with SABADELL ASABYS HEALTH INNOVATION INVESTMENTS II, F.C.R. and SABADELL ASABYS HEALTH INNOVATION INVESTMENTS 2B, S.C.R., S.A. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is of 1,800,000 euros.
- HONEXT MATERIAL, S.L. (Barcelona) is a Spanish startup with an innovative technology, based on biotechnology, industrial and patented, which allows to transform primary sludge from the recycled paper industry into HONEXT® boards, certified as circular and fire-resistant, with negative carbon footprint, intended for the use of interior construction. The investment is made with MEROIL, S.L., NOLABEY GRUP, S.L., EVOLVIA S.A.U. and COSTRUCÍA, S.L. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 1,148,000 euros.
- MOA BIOTECH, S.L. (MOA Foodtech) (Navarra) es una empresa biotecnológica que desarrolla y comercializa ingredientes funcionales mediante fermentación de biomasa. The company combines its proprietary AI platform, Albatros, with fermentation to transform agri-food by-products into high-value ingredients. MOA works through a portfolio of its own ingredients and co-development programs with industrial partners, helping human food and pet food companies to generate new value from their by-products. The investment is made with SWANLAAB INNVIERTE AGRIFOOD TECH, F.C.R. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 225,000 euros.
- NYMIZ SOFTWARE COMPANY, S.L. (Bilbao) has developed a platform to automate sensitive personal data anonymization processes, focusing on regulatory compliance, security and data analysis. The investment is made with SWANLAAB TECH FUND II, F.C.R. and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 252,000 euros.
- NUAGE THERAPEUTICS, S.L. (Barcelona) is a company that is developing new drugs aimed at therapeutic targets considered unaffordable to date by the pharmaceutical industry due to their lack of structure. These therapeutic targets are known as Intrinsically Disordered Proteins (PIDs) and have been linked on numerous occasions to diseases with unmet medical needs, such as cancer. With this investment, it is intended to advance in this development to bring its first therapeutic product closer to oncological patients. The investment is made with SABADELL ASABYS HEALTH INNOVATION INVESTMENTS, S.C.R., SA, ASABYS TOP UP FUND, F.C.R. and SOFINNOVA CAPITAL X and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 2,700,000 euros.
- TEBRIO GROUP, S.L. (Salamanca) is a biotechnology company in the insect protein sector, which produces protein and fats for animal consumption and fertilizers from the insect Tenebrio molitor. The company began operating in 2014 with the mission of providing innovative and 100% sustainable solutions for the agri-food industry. Its axes of action focus on food security, sustainability and the circular economy model. The investment is made with GARCIA PEREZ CONSULTING, SL and the contribution of the CDTI Innovation is 900,000 euros.
- VEGA ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (VEGA Chargers) is a company based in Barcelona specialized in the design and manufacture of fast charging stations in DC for electric vehicles. The company works to enable a more sustainable present and future in electromobility and provides flexible and scalable charging solutions for electric vehicles, from initial design to manufacturing. In addition, it develops comprehensive software systems that together with their recharging stations are the perfect binomial to accelerate the adoption of the electric vehicle. La inversión se realiza con SC CLIMATE TECH VENTURES FUND I F.C.R. and SC CLIMATE TECH VENTURES I F.C.R.E, S.A. and the contribution of CDTI Innovation is 129,000 euros.
- VENTER PHARMA, S.L. (Madrid) is a Spanish biotechnology company that has developed its own technology to diagnose high-prevalence gastrointestinal pathologies. Its tests are already being used in more than 74 reference hospitals of the National Health System, Dependent Centers, Pharmacies and Private Clinics. The investment is made with DIAGNOSTICS INVESTMENTS, FCRE, S.A. and the contribution of CDTI Innovation is 991,000 euros.
In addition, in the line of strategic companies, CDTI Innovation has committed 3.15 million euros in the company XOOPLE, S.L. (Madrid), the data infrastructure company that is building a global system for recording physical changes on Earth.

Innvierte
Innvierte is an initiative whose objective is to promote business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. This program is implemented through the closed-ended collective investment company Innvierte Economía Permanente SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and subject to the supervision of the National Securities Market Commission and of which CDTI Innovation is a single shareholder.
To date, the CDTI Innovation has committed, through Innvierte, 3,830.2 M€ in 67 investment vehicles and, through its co-investment line, has directly committed an amount of 938.1 M€ in 197 companies.
Innvierte is part of the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved by Agreement of the Council of Ministers, in September 2020. This Strategy contains the objectives, reforms and measures that must be adopted throughout the field of R+D+I in order to boost its growth and impact, and is one of the pillars on which the design of the Government's R+D+I policy for the coming years is based.
