The CDTI Innovation Council allocates 38 million euros for 66 new business R&D&I projects

Of the 65 companies involved in the development of these projects, 21 receive funding from CDTI Innovation for the first time and 44 are SMEs. Of the 67 operations approved, 23 are co-financed with POPE 2021-2027 funds and 4 with MRR funds

The Board of Directors of the CDTI Innovation, Public Business Entity (E.P.E.) Attached to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, it has approved 66 new R&D&I projects with a total budget of 48.07 million euros, of which the CDTI Innovation will contribute 37.98 million euros and include a non-refundable tranche of 7.50 million euros. The number of operations approved by the CDTI Innovation is 67 and all projects belong to the loan modality.

The development of these projects involves 65 companies, of which 21 receive funding from the CDTI Innovation for the first time and 44 are SMEs. These companies have 204 people dedicated to the proposed objectives.

Operations co-financed with European Funds

Of the 67 operations approved in this Council, 23 operations are co-financed with the Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain (POPE) 2021-2027 and 4 are co-financed with MRR funds.

The Multiregional Operational Program of Spain 2021-2027 allows the CDTI Innovation to offer a non-refundable tranche of up to 30% to projects that have cofinancing of this program, regardless of the size of the beneficiary.

MRR cofinancing allows CDTI Innovation to offer a non-refundable tranche of up to 33% in the ISCIII-CDTI initiative (TransMisiones 2023).
