The CDTI Innovation publishes a new Call of Expressions of Interest within the call for Eureka 2026 in food of higher quality and added value

The CDTI Innovation and the Funding Agency of Estudos and Projetos (FINEP) of Brazil launch this call for expressions of interest within the framework of the Eureka 2026 call to promote R+D+i projects that require technological cooperation between entities from Spain and Brazil, aimed at generating food innovations of high commercial value.

Projects must pursue an innovative, market-oriented product, process or service as a result of technological collaboration between participants. The participation must include entities from both countries, being relevant to all partners, and no country will be able to assume more than 70% of the total budget. The use of any technological area is allowed, provided that the application is linked to the field “Food of higher quality and added value” and the projects must have a civil purpose and a budget consistent with the expected developments and the technical and financial capacity of the participants.

Applications by Spanish companies must be made through the International Technological Cooperation Projects with certification and unilateral monitoring - Eureka Initiative and on the Eureka website. The deadline for submitting applications is 31 March 2026.

Eureka is an intergovernmental initiative that supports international cooperative R&D, boosting the competitiveness of companies through technological projects with clear commercial interest in the international market, based on innovative technologies. It is aimed at any Spanish company capable of carrying out an applied R+D+I project in collaboration with at least one company and/or research center of another country of the Eureka network.
