The CDTI Innovation and the board of Castilla-La Stain reinforce their cooperation to boost r + D + I business
The Mixed Commission to follow up the cooperation agreement signed between the CDTI Innovation and the board of Castilla-La Stain has held this week its sixth meeting for the promotion of innovation and technological development in this autonomous community emphasizing growth in requests, approved projects and participation in european programmes

This week was held at headquarters of the CDTI in Madrid the sixth meeting of the mixed commission to follow up the cooperation agreement between the CDTI Innovation and the board of communities of Castilla-La Stain. This convention, in force from 2019 and was extended until 2027, aims to promote technological development and innovation in the business fabric of this autonomous community.
During the meeting, the two institutions have taken stock of joint hearings and impact of aid under the CDTI in the business fabric castellanomanchego. Only in the first five months of 2025, the CDTI has adopted 20 r & D & I projects developed in the region, with a total investment of more than eur 24 million and a contribution CDTI over 18 million.
Emphasizes the high number of requests to the convening, ERDF Interconecta-STEP 59 proposals who number some eur 38 million. This reflects the growing interest and dynamism of businesses castellanomanchegas for access to national financing for development of strategic technological projects.
In addition to the follow-up to the national projects, the impetus to regional involvement in international programmes. Since the beginning of Horizon Europe, the entities made Castilla-La Stain over 350 proposals, of which 80 have been adopted. The success rate (21.1 per cent) in this region is similar to that of the spanish national average, but represents a notable improvement in the case in the previous programme H2020.
It was also highlighted the proceedings under the programme Innvierte, with private equity investments in innovative companies in the region, and the active participation in processes of Innovative Public Procurement, such as the tender for the development of innovative solutions in the area of rural security technical validation and reliability and effectiveness will be carried out in the territory of Castilla La Mancha.
This Joint Commission reaffirms its role as key institutional cooperation, to facilitate companies' access to public instruments of support for innovation. Both institutions have agreed to further strengthen this partnership to consolidate regional ecosystem a more competitive, sustainable and aimed at technological excellence.
