The CDTI Innovation strengthens technological cooperation with the United States in agro-industry and dual technologies
The day held today at the CDTI Innovation has focused on the opportunities for collaboration between Spain and the United States in two strategic areas, agro-industry and dual technologies, reinforcing the international projection of the innovative Spanish ecosystem
“Agribusiness and Dual Technologies in the USA: Opportunities for Technological Collaboration, Market Entry and Soft Landing”, held today at the headquarters of the CDTI Innovation, has focused on promoting technological cooperation between Spain and the United States in agro-industry and dual technologies, two sectors considered strategic for their ability to generate innovation of high added value and strengthen competitiveness in global markets.
The event has counted on the collaboration of the United States Commercial Office and the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, reinforcing the institutional nature of the meeting and the joint commitment to the promotion of international cooperation and the opening of new business opportunities for Spanish companies and technology centers.
The conference offered a practical overview of the opportunities for access to the US market, addressing both the mechanisms of technological collaboration and the soft landing channels for those entities interested in exploring, validating or scaling their solutions in the United States. This approach has allowed us to delve into key aspects such as regulatory requirements, investment dynamics, partnership models and support instruments available in different states.
The session was attended by representatives from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, who presented the industrial and technological capabilities of their respective states, as well as the competitive advantages they offer for the development of R&D projects, business implementation and international cooperation. Each intervention has allowed us to know sectoral priorities, incentives and characteristics of innovation ecosystems, facilitating a comparative vision of existing opportunities.
After the presentations, a networking space has been developed that has allowed attendees to interact directly with US delegates. Likewise, those who have requested it have held bilateral meetings with the representatives of the participating states, an opportunity to explore synergies, compare technological needs and analyze possible entry routes to the US market.
With this type of initiative, CDTI Innovation strengthens its role as a public agent to promote international technological cooperation, facilitating the Spanish business ecosystem to access new markets, establish strategic alliances and consolidate its positioning in highly competitive environments.
