The CDTI Innovation seeks a Spanish company to collaborate with Saudi Arabia in an R&D project in the pharmaceutical sector

The initiative aims to develop innovative drug formulations through technological cooperation between companies in both countries

The proposal may be submitted to the 2026 call for international technological cooperation projects with certification and unilateral monitoring

The company BATTERJEE PHARMA, based in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), focuses its activity on the manufacture and conditioning of pharmaceutical products, including solid oral forms, liquid oral forms and preparations for external use.

The aim of the company is to find a Spanish partner with one of the following profiles:

  • Companies that have products and technical knowledge for the manufacture of GLP-1 drugs in solid pharmaceutical forms of oral administration, such as semagglutide.
  • Companies interested in collaborating in the field of metered-dose inhalers (MDIs), dry powder inhalers (DPIs), injectable products and biopharmaceutical formulations.

The proposed proposal aims to be presented to the 2026 call for international technological cooperation projects with certification and unilateral monitoring. This call for proposals will also be open in 2027.
