The CDTI Innovation seeks Spanish companies to develop R&D projects with Morocco in the area of sustainability
The initiative seeks Spanish companies interested in collaborating with iTX in the development and scaling of technologies in three areas: mineral processing, green energy and animal feed.
The CDTI Innovation seeks Spanish companies interested in developing R&D projects with iTX, a subsidiary of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) of Morocco, specialized in connecting research with industry.
iTX has a pilot infrastructure to validate technologies on an industrial scale and seeks Spanish partners with whom to accelerate the development and application of solutions that improve mineral recovery, process efficiency and resource use.
The proposals are articulated around three areas of collaboration:
- Processing of minerals. We are looking for technologies that improve the recovery of minerals and valuable elements, optimize the separation and treatment processes and allow the recovery of waste and by-products. For further information you can consult the technical document or contact Abdelmaula Aboulaich via email Abdelmaula.ABOULAICH@itx.ma
- Green energy. The search focuses on technologies for decarbonizing industrial processes with a high heat demand. For further information you can consult the technical document or contact Salaheddine Kaba via email salaheddine.kaba@itx.ma
- Animal feed. New sustainable and functional ingredients, biotechnological solutions and processing technologies are being sought. For more information you can consult the technical document or contact Oussama Barakate via email Oussama.BARAKATE@itx.ma
The proposals are scheduled for submission to the 2026 call for international technological cooperation projects with certification and unilateral monitoring.
