The 11th Spain-Egypt Call for bilateral R&D projects within the framework of the ESIP Program of the CDTI Innovation is open
It has recently opened the 11th bilateral call for the development of R&D projects between Spanish and Egyptian entities, within the framework of the Egypt-Spain Innovation Program (ESIP).
On June 30, 2016, Egypt’s Science & Technology Development Fund (STDF) and CDTI Innovation signed a partnership agreement to launch the Egypt-Spain Innovation Program (ESIP). As a result of this agreement, the 11th Bilateral Call for the development of R&D projects between entities of both countries has been opened.
The projects submitted to this call may have a maximum duration of 2 years and will be open to a wide number of development areas, including:
- Agriculture and sustainable food production
- Sustainable water management
- Health
- Renewable energies
- Environment
- Construction
- Transport
- Tourism
- Pharmacy
- Mobility
Spanish companies interested in participating in this call and wishing to identify an Egyptian partner with whom to collaborate must complete and send, as soon as possible, the partner search form.
The deadline for submitting Phase I applications is 3 December 2026.
